Annika's Rules, Read before Joining.

This is a proper forum, it's not like MSN groups, you will not get any emails besides the welcome and acceptance. This means, you come here to read topics, not wait for them to come in email.

1. Most importantly, you must have a sound understanding of the English language as this is an English site. If you don't understand and/or can't respond properly, perhaps this is the WRONG site for you. If we believe/feel you can't understand English your account will be cancelled.

2. You must have an active email account when joining Annika's. This is because your username and password are emailed to you.

3. No Spam of any kind will be permitted upon any of the message boards. This means, absolutely NO referrals or self-promotion of any kind is allowed unless specifically approved by an admin or mod in advance. This includes posting items for sale, links to your eBay auctions, referral or affiliate links, or asking members to sign up under you for something, or vote for you or a friend/family member for something. If you spam you are banned. There is a search page for a reason, do a search to make sure the company isn't already posted.

4. No profanity, no obscene remarks, no warez, no copyrighted, or pornographic photos in the messages, links or message boards. Please try to remember this is a PUBLIC webpage, young people do see this site and these posts. Keep it clean. Have respect for others.

5. We WANT to hear about your experiences with these sites/company's, GOOD or BAD. We will NOT accept postings of links that are simply set up to get you referrals, etc. If that's what you are looking for, we recommend you create your own website!

6. No posting messages from members who have been banned from this site and are no longer welcomed. Regardless of reasons. The person was clearly banned for a good reason, we don't need mocking birds. Thank you.

7. Should you be considered as harassing or violent you WILL be banned. If you can't respect people you are not welcome here.

8. If you feel the need to lie about who or what you are. Then please don't join. We prefer honest members. Simming is one thing, downright lying is another. As we are not a sim group there really is no need to sim is there? (If you don't know what simming is, don't worry I doubt you are doing it then.)

9. Never give out your personal info on the message boards. Personal info such as your credit card#, telephone#, Driver License, email address, passwords and so on, you're just asking to have your identity stolen. The managers of Annika's will NEVER ask you for any of this information. If someone does, please notify us, and we will take the proper actions to resolve the matter. If you reply to limited offers or limited local offers with personal information instead of reading and responding correctly to the email, or link mentioned you will automatically be removed from the message boards.

10. Please RESPECT our copyrighted materials throughout this site. If you would like to use any of the information contained within the site please ask for approval FIRST.

11. CAPS is yelling, do not post messages in CAPS or even like this CaP cHaNgEs.

12. If your nickname/username contains reference to or is spam, or is obscene or overly suggestive your account will be cancelled, denied, or banned. This also includes company names as your username/nickname.

17. Turn off your auto email responders/vacation responses if you are set to receive the postings replies after you post a message at Annika's sent to your email address. If we receive an auto response or bounced email, your account will be cancelled or banned, depending upon what is in it. If you don't know what an auto email responder is, chances are you don't have one, as you'd have to set it up. Note: an auto responder/vacation response is set up in your email account and has nothing to do with the settings of this message board. Auto responders reply to each and every email you get automatically, this is why they must be turned off to get postings from Annika's. If you can't get your username and password without email auuto responder authentication, you can't register.

18. When it asks your location on your profile, put an about, city and state. Not your whole mailing address.

It is suggested that after you register, save the email that contains your username and password to prevent login problems later. I would also suggest picking a username you won't forget.

Please keep in mind that the Managers are not responsible for unwanted mail from other members. If you do not wish for members to contact you, please either (1) Do not include your email for others to see, or (2) Make a note that you do not wish to receive email. Remember, not all members wish to carry on this sites messages in their email. Please do not assume they do just because they have an email on their profile. If you wish to email them, please ask before you assume its OK.
