Recent versions of Safari, Chrome and Firefox browsers block auto-playing media – videos or sound where you didn’t click on something to play it. They’re trying to make the web less annoying but unfortunately it means that you aren't hearing the greeting!
You can tell your browser to allow Amy Lynn's Voice-Overs to play sound – below are instructions for changing the settings for Amy Lynn's Voice-Overs (and not for every site you visit, only this one).
Safari for iOS – the browser on your iPhone or iPad – doesn’t have a setting to allow this. We’re sorry about that.
Another thing that sometimes helps is now that you have visited other pages, the greeting will play because Chrome will now trust this site. Simply click on the left hand side of the menu where it says "Main".
Go to the URL “about:preferences#privacy” or click “Preferences” then “Privacy & Security” in the application menu:
Click on “Exceptions” next to “Block websites from automatically playing sound”, enter “http://www.amylynn.org” and “Allow”.

Paste chrome://settings/content/sound into your address bar.
Turn on Allow sites to play sound.
Then, next to “Allow,” click Add.
In the pop-up window, enter amylynn.org
Click Add.
Firefox
Go to amylynn.org
On the left of a web page address, click the lock Lock.
Click Show connection details and then.
Click More Information.
Click the Permissions tab.
Under “Autoplay,” uncheck the box next to “Use Default.”
Click Allow Audio and Video.
Safari
In the top left, click Safari and then Settings for this website.
Next to “Auto-Play,” choose Allow All Auto-Play.
